Last year, Russ' picture was put behind an escalator.

Because he is a cheating lying piece of that should be never allowed to step foot into a casino poker room ever again! Harrahs should ban this guy from the WSOP forever!

There is more than enough public info on this guy that Harrahs should stand up for the integrity of the game and ban him, Its obvious he is a thief that cheated players out of millions!

The picture of Russ will be his only appearance at this year's WSOP.

another random note: the blue information screens at the WSOP often put up WSOP-related anecdotes. one las year told of how Russ Hamilton intentionally put on 100 pounds before the main event (lol) he won because the event planners promised the winner their weight in silver. apparantly superusing was allowed back in 1994

It's just a poster -- this isn't really that big a deal.
If anything, I think it's a positive in that it'll get a ton of people talking about him during the events and spread the word to the uneducated masses.

These pictures were taken during the final table in November, so I guess they put the pictures out in the hallway leading to the Penn and Teller theater at that time. So at the start of the WSOP, Russ hadn't been implicated yet for the UB thing, so every World Champion was in the Amazon room.

So ups to me.
