Russ Hamilton verbally eviscerated; breaks down into an obscenity laced tirade - Page 3 - Poker News

The first one liner was in regards to him repeatedly complaining about him getting unlucky. I think he lost with kq to kj when a king flopped and a lot of money got in there then villain hits a jack. Few minutes later he loses big pot with KK verse 67 and he says, "now its the 6-7, yup, they always do it, now its with the 6-7 verse the two kings. They alwaysdo it to me."

So I say (mind you I have not acknowledged him prior to this) "well if karma really exists, they will keep doing it to you everyday for the rest of your life"

The look on his face was priceless man, like he is in that state where he got sucked out on (it was pretty dirty, it came 8-6-2 and I wasnt paying attention so much to the hand but, substantial money was def put into the pot on the flop and turn....6 on the river....all in on the river) and most people in a live casino are going to be sympathetic in that spot, say something to the effect of, 'that was so sick', or 'I know, I got kings cracked like that yesterday,' you know something (stupid, yet) empathetic like that. So for him to be expecting sympathy from me, his neighbor, and then to instead get a sick needle like that was f cking great.

Other good ones too. Mind you, I am not quick with jokes or one liners, I usually stutter and am horrendous at telling stories. But his friend came up to him and was explaining to him how he folded pocket 4's pre but would have hit a set had he called. I said, so Russ, when you were doing that thing on ultimate bet could you see what the flop was too? Or was it just the hole cards.

A few more, somebody at table said you guys are fighting like a father and son, I replly no, no, no, I could never call a man like this my father, then I asked russ while feigning actual interest, are sons allowed to disown fathers or can only fathers disown sons? Either way, of course I would disown you,,, that was a pretty funny one.

Just wanted to give a few specifics in case any unbleievers. Were a few more too.

Usually I am a person who avoids conflict at a place like poker table. I am almost sheepish at times. Slifdoggy is usually the one who would step up and harass this guy instead of me. This was very fun and I am proud.

wow, this is more direct than the OP would have us believe. I think it took a lot of balls for you to be this obvious about your ribbing, it wasn't really subtle at all IMO....

yeah, maybe next time you can get a signed, certified, and notarized (maybe one of the cocktail waitresses is a notary public) document from Russ stating that he felt insulted and got mad. Testimony about the anger from a board certified Psychologist would probably be helpful (if he has a diploma from an Ivy League school) please be ready to send digital image of such.

I would say this is so epic that there is no way this is made up.

Someone making this up would just be looking for trouble here or
wherever else they play poker as they would get caught in a lie and look like complete idiots.

These two do not strike me as idiots. So I 100% believe this and all I can say is very well played u2.

I really believe that it would be a good thing for poker if Russ would be allowed back into the WSOP.... We would actually be able to record these events and relive them on the internet at any time. What a great tilt breaker, "I just lost a big hand! sht" oh well, lets go watch someone berate Russ Hamilton, that will make me feel better!

Noone ever bothered to do something after he personally invited friends (i know, Matusow told about this) to play him HU online on UB and cleaned them out for hefty amounts?
