My gf's brother did time for robbing someone in a casino parking garage and one of the top conditions of his parole was to not set foot in any casino. I am curious as well as to the lengths they would go to enforce that and where to draw the line. Lotto scratchers? Charity poker tournament outside of a casino?
I would imagine with the notoriety of the Bellagio Bandit that he would be in the black book but you never know. The way he was portrayed in the article leads me to believe he's a favorite to re-offend. It seems he regrets the way he handled the cranberries and not the robbery itself. His mentality of making his own fortune with just balls and determination combined with having felt the ultimate rush of "getting away" with it, albeit for a short time; I feel he's probably been doing a lot of thinking about how to do it the right way next time.
Also makes me wonder if the panel on the parole board will take anything he said in that article into consideration considering the implications of remorse or lack thereof.
