You regret you voted for him? We all make mistakes...
Obama is just a front man for a 'front' U.S. government which is actually a world government.
the big corporations/ banks call the shots,
Obama is just there to convince you otherwise.
we will have a north american union, like the EU, and an amero for currency, instead of the dollar, like the euro.
it's already planned out by the real elites, and Obama doesn't have any say, either do your congressmen.

Yeah, every online grinder should flood their unemployment offices with requests. Might not work, but could send a good message.

1. USA players are currently restricted from cash games and FTP games.
2. USA players are currently restricted from using the cashier.
3. Our money is safe.

I left my money on yesterday, rather than having it floating in cyberspace to some processor where the money may be confiscated....
The money IS NOT safe.

The DOJ is trying to seize the entire poker companies and all their software, not just fine the companies.

Do you think the DOJ will be refunding your money?

A number that Jason Koon spit out on QuadJacks....something about 20% of online players in the US are pros. Not my number.

Except that, you can't file if you haven't actually *been* employed, and had the unemployment insurance withheld from your paycheck.

The only person anyone should even consider listening to is Noah. His intuition on these matters is way better than any random guest they'll have on this show.

AP has suspended all withdrawals for ALL players

[QUOTE=mike222;26074175]It's really messy what happened last night, and I don't even want to imagine how it feels to be a US player at this moment.

I see everyone is talking about leaving the country here, but isn't it possible to play at the smaller sites? I've read an interesting article here about the alternatives for US players. What do you think?

The smaller sites have two choices:

1. Pull out of the American market

or 2. get their companies seized by the DOJ like Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and AB.

You guys are missing the point.....the DOJ is not fining the companies......the DOJ is SEIZING the entire poker companies!

If its getting seized...it is whether you withdraw now or not...all the processors are involved in this too.

I don't think the money will be seized....if it is...then at this point nothing I can do now expept wait.

Obama and his administration has nothing to do with it.

Ok well in a sense maybe..since he could of legalized and regulated online poker..but he just might have more important things on his plate.

Response to my query from AP:

Dear valued customer,

Thank you for contacting us.

We understand your concern but there is nothing to worry about. You can continue to log in, play as usual and cashout anytime you want as your funds are and will always be secure.

Our legal team is currently handling this situation and a press release will be sent out very soon.

Thank you and good luck at the tables!

Best Regards,

Thanks for sticking around and providing US players with continued service.
Nevertheless, the situation seems really uncertain. While my bankroll is modest, it is still a meaningful amount of money to me. At the moment, I am in the middle of a game, but I am considering pulling out my roll until things settle down. Please let me know what would happen if I try to submit a cashout request at this point of time. Instant e-check is my normal mode of transaction.
I'd like to know if I can be certain that my next withdrawal won't get lost and will appear in my checking account in due time. Please callibrate my expectations candidly.
I appreciate your assistance,
- Xxxxxx

Just because you feel it is your right to play online poker doesn't make it so. I feel it's right to pay a hooker so suck my dick but with the exception of Nevada it's not. I feel it's my right to smoke a joint but with the exception of CA it's not. Instead of lobbying congress you kept breaking the law. You had the biggest red flag last November when FTP couldn't get their money from banks when you deposited and when PS stopped using echecks for many Americans so there is no excuse. Now, get on the phone to Harry Reid and John Boehner and start pushing them. By spring of next year you can have a bill in place and we can play safely and with a real regulated system. To sit here and play the victim won't get you anywhere.
Hey OK buddy just give the government a pass to do whatever it wants because it doesnt directly affect you. What will you say when they come for your money, for some arbitrary reason? and since you stood up for no one else, there will be no one left to stand up for you. Ive lived long enough, been robbed enough times by government to know, that all laws are politically motivated and truly arbitrary. Your ability to pursue prosperity are at the whims of some political busy body who cares about nothing but retaining their position of power. Fight back, take their pensions and their jobs.

Because the DoJ is attempting to sieze all of the assets and property of the sites. If the offshore jurisdictions comply then yeah, they'll be shut down. Personally I hope all non-US jursidictions give the US DoJ the finger.

I play in Full Tilt from Spain (sorry for my english), and yesterday I was able to play as usual, but today it appears the message 'an update is avalaible', update which you can't download. 'Please try later'. I'm scared about the software of this site may have been shut down by the authority too. Problably I'm just in panic right now, but I'm beggining to regret not whitdrawing my money yesterday...
