just like it was ridiculous to blame bush for what happened to new orleans after katrina.

didn't stop the democrats then, probably won't stop the republicans now.
You still haven't figured out that it really doesn't matter if its the Republicans or the Democrats in power you still get the same extremely corrupt government. Obama is just a puppet for wall street, Bush is drenched in oil & blood. Three cheers for american democracy & capitalism!!!!!! Funny that online gaming execs are on trial and execs at BP oil are not, mind you online poker is probably much more evil and takes priority.

Why did so many Americans think this wasn't going to happen??? I am pissed off it happened and think its BS ftr....I am in Canada and can still play thankfully for how long who knows but EVERYONE new it was coming down in the Statesfor 18 months now. Maybe not the way it happened today but trust me they had zero wiggle room in the eyes of the Feds.

i think everyone thought this was going to happen but when it did it would be like the bill tha was proposed a few months ago, everyone would for sure get ther money and have a few months to cash it out, but whats happened today nobody has any idea wtf is going on and if they'll get their money or when online poker will get regulated for the usa thats whats so scary about all this

They are shutting down these offshore online pokersites because online poker just became LEGAL in the US:

No Joke... look here:
http://washingtonexaminer.com/local/...lears-congress

This paves the way for State lotteries to create online gambling rooms... what a coincidence the timing is...

the democrats are the only chance of legal/regulated poker, and we have people blaming them? instead of the god-fearing "personal liberty" supporting republicans?

"penalties from these charges range up to 30 years in prison"

Wow, just found this, amazing.

It's cool.. Interesting that your security thought it was bad. Probably because all the re-routing and DNS changes that had to be made, things hadn't propagated yet. It might have thought that the website had been taken over.

A short, short while ago...
I hardly can remember
How dem Pokerz used to make me smile.
And I knew that I had the odds
To make those donkeys lose most pots
And, maybe, they’d be tilted for a while.

But April 15th made me shiver
With every bad beat I’d deliver.
Bad news, tWas my last coinflip
I couldn’t win one more chip.

I can remember, yes I cried
When I read not only UB lied
And something touched me deep inside
The day teh pokerz died.

So bye-bye, hundred dollar re-buy
Played my ID to the FT,
But the cashout was dry.
And them good old live pros will be glad I play high
Singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die. (Of boredom)
"this’ll be the day that I dye." (My hair, to look younger in boring live
games)

capitalist, democratic america never existed.

oligarchies and a military-controlled government.

take the blinders off folks, the US has nothing against online poker, but they don't want dollar bills leaving the country without getting a cut....bottom line.

anyone know if UB WU withdrawals are going through? what about UB moneybookers withdrawals in Europe?

Wow. I didn't realize so many of us actually cared about the legality of online poker. Whoda thunk?

Funny story.. I've been looking for part time work so I can take more shots with my BR and was approached by Primerica yesterday. They said I'd be making millions within a couple years. Went home and googled it and sure enough it's a huge MLM scam-ridden pipe dream corporation worth millions that thousands of people fall for, waste their time on and get screwed by.
But they've been in business for years.
And that's just my personal experience. I can't even begin to list all the countless corporations that screwed people I know and got away with it.

Department of Justice... lol yeah ok
