As far as I know p2p-transfers should work. I am able to withdraw (from Europe) and can send the money back via western union, neteller etc.
Pussys.... guy seems legit.

no. they released a statement saying they would block US players.
they just did.

Full Tilt’s CEO Raymond Bitar has released a statement saying he is “surprised and disappointed by the government’s decision to bring these charges,” although he is looking forward “to my exoneration.” In the meantime, Full Tilt recognizes that it “must suspend ‘real money’ play in the US until this case is resolved.”

There's a select few who seem to have their heads on straight. People blaming the government are so naive to their own poor lifestyle choice. Gambling is illegal in the US except for a few select areas (Indian reservations, vegas, etc.)
45 out of 50 states run lotteries. 15 have legal commercial (casinos) gambling. 27 permit indian casinos. 21 have recetracks. I can play poker in three states within a 2 hour drive of my apartment. Not exactly a few select areas.

11 posts seems credible enough to me. Do you accept million dollar bills? If so, I would like to transfer you 17 million USD asap.

Guys sorry to be this guy, but can anyone update me on the 48 hour threat to anyone outside the US? From what I can tell it seems like everything is ok for non-US players for a while at least, is there legitimate reason to think FTP/Stars will shut down completely for everyone within the next day or two?

Also, how are stars cashouts looking? It seems like FTP players might have to wait a few months, what about Stars players outside US?

Sorry again for being that guy, hard to keep track of this :S

no not really. Natural disasters usually take innocent lives, not being able to play poker is a tad different.

To all non-US players: Please boycott my country. Do not come visit the US. Do not buy our products. Please help us facilitate and speed up the already obvious internal implosion of what used to be a liberty loving country.

To all fellow US citizen: If you were a grinder who made a living from poker, please go register ASAP for Welfare, Medicade, WIC, food stamps, unemployment, whatever you can grab as fast as you can grab it. Its time to bankrupt this nation before it enslaves you. You are all smart people. Head underground and make your living in bartering and black markets. Invest in other countries, gold, etc.
The point is that it is too late to "take our country back" or "turn things around", as well intentioned as some in this camp may be. Like every other governement in history before us, the inevitable conclusion is collapse and re-birth. The best way to go about this is for said collapse to be as obvious and quick as possible... to deny those quietly pillaging (Wall Street bailout, etc) what is left the time to keep extracting from our labor and freedoms. A slow decline will last our lifetime and see our rights and prospects for making a living without enslavement erode. A quick rebellion and upheaval may be scary, but is the only way to live free. Dont keep stammering for a way to eek out a buck. Rape the welfare state that has arisen to make us dependent upon it. Dont work honestly and pay taxes that fund the very machine that rapes away your moneys value, your freedoms, your right to use your own money to play poker. Drop out, suck all you can out of this dying government until it cant cover up its own insolvency anymore. Wallstreet did it. You can too. Bleed it dry until it fails and then help bring about a nation that once again believes in freedom and a government that opperates handicapped to the maximum degree possible. Live free or die.

Just remember boys and girls:
The US federal government wins something like 98% of all cases where the government is prosecuting someone on behalf of itself (IE you have committed a crime against government and not another individual). Crimes against the government, perceived or real, nearly always result a win for government prosecution. The bottom line is the government and its agencies are corrupt because all prosecution IS POLITICAL IN NATURE and the judges are COMPLICIT. The only solution is a small constitutionally constrained government that does not interfere in privately negotiated contracts ALA your agreement with the poker site to play poker according to their rules.

3rd paragraph below might provide some hope for online poker in general, if not the indicted and their companies:

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/04/16/te...r.html?_r=1&hp

Experts in gambling law said that the forceful action raises tricky questions about gambling laws and the government’s reach...

Lawrence Walters, a lawyer who represents online gambling operations, though not those involved in these cases, said the indictment might raise an even more fundamental question: Is online poker actually illegal? Federal law prohibits sports betting, but experts are divided over whether it clearly prohibits online games like poker and blackjack.

In the indictment, prosecutors seemed to skirt the issue. They based parts of their prosecution on state laws in New York and elsewhere that prohibited unlicensed gambling, including poker. Legal experts said the prosecutors needed to rely on such prohibitions as a foundation for going after the claims of money laundering and fraud. But Mr. Walters said this strategy might face challenges. He said it was not clear that the state laws applied to foreign-based gambling operations, given that under federal law, international commerce was regulated at the federal level.

“This appears to be a precedent-setting case,” Mr. Walters said. “It will be the first time the Department of Justice takes on the looming question of whether federal law prohibits online poker.”

the 48 hour threat came from gambling compliance and was passed on by andrew feldman. I'd also like to know if anyone has heard anymore on this?

Blaming Obama? Republicans have been talking about this for years. Google Harry Reid + online poker, and see who has been trying to legalize online poker.
