The software isn't all that terrible. It has crappy avatars and emoticons, and is obviously nowhere near as good as Stars, but it works fairly well most of the time.
The WSOP brand could be huge in the US once online poker is fully legalized Stateside.

Is it really that bad? Lobby and tables look decent from Google images.

Sigh.... 888 it's on the way... Obvious poker will be legal at the federal level by the end of the year, just going to suck so bad without Stars..

Hopefully FTP2 will be allow....

888 is awful. There rake is absurd. If you bet $500 on the river into a $900 pot they rake $1400 not the standard $900. Not to mention all the fish sit at the push and fold tables

Im sure party had the best software in 04 too right? As long as theyre willing to improve then im sure it will be fine.

Stars was definitely better. I remember trying to multi table on Party, and the tables would pop up when it was your turn to act and when the hand was dealt. Tilted the hell out of me.

Do you think they will make a push to get things legal BEFORE the WSOP or is this too ambitious?? From Ceasars standpoint they have the avenue ready to go for US traffic. They have to be hoping to get things squared away ASAP to impact this years WSOP.

if this is true then 888 will not get my business even if they are the only legal option.

According to DQ that's a possibility:

These rumors have been going for years about Pacific/888, but when I actually tried, uncalled bets were not raked at all.
