The number of posters with zero history or credibility who continue to post ridiculous claims in the FTP containment thread ("I heard we're going to get news on Friday from a super secret source, I'm 99.9% sure!") followed by a mix of clueless people believing them and jaded posters lambasting them has become ridiculous.

Going forward, ALL POSTERS ARE PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING THE FTP CONTAINMENT THREAD AND CLAIMING THEY KNOW SOMETHING THE REST OF US DON'T KNOW UNLESS THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA ARE MET:

1) They have previous established that they have inside information and history of credibility. Posters like NoahSD and Diamond Flush are free to continue doing what they do, and sharing what they can share.

2) You are willing to name your source (the actual name, and their position within the poker community or FTP deal if it's not a household name). If you aren't willing to name your source, then don't tell us your news. This has happened at least 10 times previously and has never been right. Therefore the odds are that your source isn't right either. We don't care if your super duper 99.9% sure. No name, no right to disclose your rumor.

3) You contact one of the NVG mods with your information, and are given permission to post it.

4) The rumor is published by another recognized poker news source, and you are merely providing the link.

That's it. If you don't meet one of these criteria, and you post in the FTP containment claiming you have insider information that X is going to happen at Y time but aren't willing to tell us who your source is so people can evaluate the information, then GTFO.

Infractions for violating this will start immediately. This is your warning.

You can't start a separate NVG thread in an attempt to circumvent this rule, either.
