What I heard in a nutshell; They had a deal with Stars, to hide's everyone who opted out. Then they decided to make everything public even the people who had opted out, because they figured Stars couldn't do ****. A few months go by and Stars changes around their software, the results on HSDB were showing more and more hiccups, entire games not tracked, sessions missing. The accuracy went to 0 and HSDB tried to change their tracker, but they failed, Stars had essentially locked their tracking system out.
Then HSDB's tracker went down so they could fix their system and start tracking Stars results again. They never managed to overcome the adjustments Stars made. So here we are 9 months later and they still haven't fixed it. I don't know how Stars does it, but their security system is out of this world
