If any deal happened (which given QJ rep its more likely that one didn't happen) I would be so happy if any such deal involved:
a) Binion gaining majority control
b) Binion terminating the entire management team

I disagree. We don't know what he is paying for it and secondly if he gains some sort of controlling interest then I assume he also gains rights to the Rush Poker patent as well as arguably the best software in the industry. If/when poker comes back regulated in the US he then can just re-brand FTP as "Binion Stars" or "Full Binion Poker" or something and have a "monopoly" on Rush and the best software in the industry. Plus, if he does invest now and it leads to paying out all the players I am sure that would lead to some fairly strong loyalty amongst many of the players on this board that have money tied up on FTP atm...

I understand that, not trying to be a DB but I hate when everyone gets their hopes up lately only to be let down by another BS rumor.

Guys questioning QJ's sources, remember, they are the only guys to get any sort of comment out of Howard.

I'm not saying this is true, just that they do have some successes.

Jack Binion is definitely a better businessman than Howard Lederer.
