Its a very good thing for poker in Russia. Most casinos are changing into entertainment centers and poker clubs. Poker is legal as it is considered to be a sport.

I am not sure, I think sportsbetting stays. All the casino games go, like slots, roulette, etc. Poker gets an exemption, as I said its a sport by law. At least MTT's and SnGs stay for sure. Cash games are kinda different as they don't exactly fit into the "sport" category. But most clubs run them anyway as "training games". I am not sure what the legal stance will be on them.

Plus Demivod came second last year and Lunkin won the 40k event this year. So its all kinda good.
