Re: PTR's Top Countries of All Time
Those worried about "dollars leaving the USA" need to brush up on their economics:
Chapters 11 & 12 from Hazlitt's economics in one lesson:
11. Who's "Protected" by Tariffs?
12. The Drive for Exports

It wasn't the pope, it was a few cardinals practicing collusion in the Sistine chapel.

Re: PTR's Top Countries of All Time
so this year net losses = $200million
that is shared between PP and FTP.
I guess it doesnt include SnG's and tourneys and 100% of hands.
1/2 of that is $100million for ftp in 6 months. Then they ship out 1/3 of that in rakeback.
And they obviously have operating expenses, eg funding a brilliant help desk, great customer service team, investigators.
Then they ship stuff out to Red Pros.
I would hazzard that takes up to another 1/3 of the loot, leaving $30 million profit for 6 months. Maybe double that or less to include sng and mtt, so profit of about $100Million for 1 year before tax.

Making a living that creates something for society = good.
Wasting your obvious talents by making a living gambling = bad.

Re: PTR's Top Countries of All Time
I just browsed and didn't see it yet, but if you calculate the sum of all of the totals it is -$754,349,258.00
which means assuming ftps 27% rakeback you get $203,674,299 given back for the tracked games.
netting ftp and party $550,674,958 for the tracked games over the time frame

Re: PTR's Top Countries of All Time
The only reason that US, UK and other big countries are losing so much is because poker is most popular there and it has the most fish, not because one country is better then another.
