Moneymaker probably has more influence to this day than Joe Cada does. Moneymaker could also probably get more media attention if he wanted.

What I don't understand is how Adam Schoenfeld and Diego Cordovez are not on the list.

Re: The Power 20: Poker's Biggest Influences

So, why wouldn't the owners of 2p2 make the list? Individual players are dubious choices, except in their ownership capacities of certain websites.

How about the KGC?

There are a few names on that list that are laughable. Cada is definitely one of them, as is Sexton. Much as I like Norman Chad, he is merely a talking head, and not a power player.

Re: The Power 20: Poker's Biggest Influences

Michael Tobin & Jay Stubina who run Continent8 should definately be on the list.

Jim Ryan merits consideration (Current CEO of Party Gaming, former CEO of Excapsa and former CFO of Cryptologic)

Ray Bitar should probably be there

Cada should probably be replaced by Cliff Josephy and Eric Haber

I would think Bitar was in the #2 spot? Bluff made a note that the actual 1 and 2 requested that their names not appear in the magazine.

Re: The Power 20: Poker's Biggest Influences

So who was the real #1?

The list is really stupid. The guy that runs the production company that produces the WSOP for ESPN is probably #1. They can move mountains with what they decide to cover, who they decide to cover, etc. No one else on the list is really close when it comes to power and the only other people as powerful as the guy that produces the WSOP shows for ESPN would be Horowitz, law enforcement people or government people.

But I guess the ESPN producer guy and the FEDs don't buy advertising from Bluff so they didnt make the list.
