The Power 20: Poker's Biggest Influences

The poker industry is a big pond with lots of big fish in it. The poker industry is built on power and money, or at least the perception of it. With a few exceptions many of poker’s decision makers aren’t seen at the tables, they are the dark sihlouteed figures you see in the background of televised tables, they’re the guy on the phone standing behind your favorite player, they’re the one’s campaigning for a better poker future. BLUFF’s Power 20 pulls back the curtian for readers on the business they love.

bs to that list, imo. Poker's decision makers are the players. The industry simply tries to attract/accomodate/retain them. Those who do that best are the biggest which is why Stars is at the top of that list.

Re: The Power 20: Poker's Biggest Influences

Is this list supposed to be for 2010 only? If this is all time then it seems like a horrible list. I mean Moneymaker and Lyle Berman surely had larger influences on poker than Joe Cada could have made by now. However, if we're just talking in 2010 then of course they won't be changing the face of poker at all this year.

Re: The Power 20: Poker's Biggest Influences

Given that Lederer doesn't run FTP anymore, and hasn't for a year and a half, his inclusion seems strange.
