Even though I'm not tracked to pokerstrategy.de, I think recent changes indicate where poker is going the next months/years. According to
http://de.pokerstrategy.com/forum/th...readid=1688363 the highest status does not really offer any other benefit than access to the whole strategy site. Given that some of these people raked between 100000$-500000$, that might piss off quite a few.
~~Ps.de might save themselves 1million /year for sure
Some interesting things to look at:
1) The wild west: If there's still one thing that resembles the stereotypical poker image, then it's that some people get away with anything
. No matter what people do in the poker world, it's +EV$ for them. There is no law and people tend to be quite lenient with their reactions to greed etc. Or they just don't mind getting their balls kicked.
2) Affiliating: Is there some parallel in the economy that's close to the affiliating phenomenon in poker? Maybe headhunting people for an entreprise? It seems pretty anarchistic that after being tagged an affiliate can do anything to stay profitable while being paid for the raked amount by the player. How does "untagging" work in the real world?
