I feel like there was a technical change to the software sometime in the last 3 to 6 months. I have no lag problems at all unless I flick to a different lobby. e.g. If I fire up 4 zoom tables and then go look for a tournament to play on the side my games freeze until the lobby is refreshed. (For larger lobbies like the MTT area that is a good 20 to 30 seconds).

This is a relatively new phenomenon for me - definitely only started behaving in this way in the last few months.

Apart from that issue - I get no lag and very few disconnections and I do not live in a country renowned for its broadband!

Same issue has existed for me since the beginning of pokerstars 7, only with the MTT tab though.

yeah i've always had this issue with the lobby loading and freezing any open tables. incredibly frustrating when you misclick in the stars lobby onto the mtt tab or whatever and instantly realise ur not gonna be playing the next few mins of ur sngs :/

even worse as a hu hyper player is when ur already reg'd in a lobby but game hasn't started yet and it happens. cause then if someone sits ur game u start off as 'sitting out' and usually return to <half ur stack.

just in general i would say most days i have a 1-2 hour period where the whole site is just laggy as hell. there's no connection problems on my end that i can tell, net and whatever else works perfectly, but i routinely have periods where it's just so slow and i don't know why.

yeah its been happening to me, stars said it was a corrupted pref file i had or whatever, they told me to uninstall stars and backup noptes ect and then revert them back after installation, helped for a day, then went a bit ****ty, been intermittent recently, dont really know what it is but for tourny players it can suck alot!

plus the android ipad software always crashes, its terrible for recs, imagine loading a 30 spin and playing for 40k and then ur software just knocks u off?

Games crashing and not dealing cards as we speak. The support feature dropdowns wont even load to alert these goofballs. What a disgrace.

Common Sense is crushing the servers. We are averaging 30 sec. to 1 minute dead time between hands being dealt in another tourny. The other tourny I am in is a turbo. I feel like I am getting ripped off, like 2 hands per blind level due to dead time while servers catch up due to Common Sense. Not sure Stars was ready for this.

I won a seat to big 11 , didn't get sat down for 15 mins and another 20 minutes later have yet to see a hand am just completely frozen ,

I wish Stars would dedicate completely separate servers when they try to run a 25,000 table single tournament gimmick.

FOR OVER 30 MINUTES AND COUNTING your tournaments have been crashing, your contact support feature has crashed and you are AWOL. ZERO communication I no longer trust $ with you.

WAKE UP. Your games are broken right now. Stop the tournaments, they are unfair and broken. Handle this quickly and efficiently like the "professionals" you claim to be. One tournament is 12 hands dealt in an hour and you have not stopped this or even addressed it. Money is now a big risk here as ever before

Worst bit is common cents is running well while everything else is crashed , so they are screwing over all there regulars. , so they can make the headline that some guy wins 10k from 1 cent , disgraceful

Servers were terrible last night timed out so many times due to the terrible servers was happening to 2 or 3 players on my many tables. Something needs doing about it and fast.

6+ second lag with only 160k players ( unknown amount of bots and dataminers). What a shame Pokerstars continues to offer an inferior product under this new regime. This is bordering on fraud at this point continuing to offer a product that is inadequate for many and just unfair with huge long lags, time between hands dealt with blinds increasing. Just a **** show. Knowingly running games that severely lag and are heavily datamined, collecting rakes when the game is not fair. Time to invest some of ronaldo's money in hiring smart people again to fix this broken ****

In regards to the lag issue, although I doubted that you played yesterday like you said you did, I played for about four and it was smooth and playable for me.

lol if 6 second lag tilts you try playing on the american sites, before ultimate poker went down it had a glitch where the cards on the flop did not match the correct sequence of cards being delt in the chat box.

So the dealer message in chat would read the flop as 2,6,8 but the player holding QQ would see Q,T,7 on the flop thinking they had top set only to see the pot shipped to the winning hand corresponding to the flop in the dealer chat box. Needless to say the site went down for good shortly after.

If he actually is a PokerStars employee, then he wouldn't have actually been playing without lag issues, because he wouldn't have been playing at all. Which would discredit his assertion.

Thought everybody assumed he was a PokerStars employee.
