Bingo.

Right now funds are probably segregated and they probably have good intentions about that. But wait until they get in some financial trouble. Imagine the temptation when you are flat broke and have enormous debt and there is this huge honeypot of money just sitting there.

Already they've pulled out of 29 countries overnight without a thought of warning players to give them a chance to make the best use of their FPPs and make plans to move.

Plus ended contracts with affiliates, no thought to say ok we'll give you commissions for old players you sent us but not future conversions or whatever.

If true. Jesus help us all. =(

What Mubsy says is true also. Def a possibility now when unheard of before.

Just one thing after another, no matter how small.

Doubt it's Amaya's fault since it happened before.

why does anyone care? buying and selling info like this is common practice in virtually every industry where it's collected.

It is something a site could do (and it has happened) when a business is going really bad and they are squeezing out all value possible on their way out.

So yeah, I think I am totally entitled here to call bull**** on OP's statement without anything that remotely resembles proof.

So at least one of them is, most likely more.
I do it better than you and have seperate e-mail address for every site. The e-mail address linked to pokerstars have been crispy clean since forever. That is another reason I think OP is a little turd making up **** to get a moment in the spotlights, probably frustrated with stars because he got sucked out on again

I received (physical) junk mail from the Hippodrome casino in London. I've never had any interaction with that casino, or even stepped foot inside it, but I had to sign up for a Hippodrome card with Pokerstars in order to play at last year's UKIPT/EPT. So, yes, they're selling your details.

I just checked my dedicated email account, and there is no spam. There does not appear to be sufficient evidence to state the conclusion reached in the title of this thread.

71 posts with a regdate of 2004 can just as easily be seen to give credibility imo.

Also - ps have done stuff lately that would be 'extremely hard to believe' just a few months ago. Dropping players from a number of countries with no advance warning and little to no communication after either for example.

Asking for more proof is obv fine and should be supplied, but the fact is that this would've been laughed off by most posters here if this claim was made a couple of months ago. Now... right or wrong, it's suddenly not that unbelievable.

It's not the pokerstars we knew anymore.

No idea if OP's claims are true but he should answer if his stars email is used at any payment sites.

OTOH those that didn't get spammed may not be in the marketing target of the advertiser that may have bought the addresses.

As correct as you may be with your feelings, enough with the insults and name calling. If you have a point to make, make it without belittling anyone.

gmail, yahoo, hotmail, and others give them away for free, I would probably just sue one of those rather than pay for one of pokerstars.
