To qualify for the promotion your profit has to have looked like this over the last 12 months (nobody else will be able to compete):

Masters level: From NL100 to NL400 - at least $10,000 in winnings
All Stars level: From NL500 and up - at least $25,000 in winnings

Lol what? In the last 12 months you must have 25 - 100 / 50 bins in profit? That's basically 98% of the regs. Obv promotion is good but the title is dougpolk level clickbait.

They want to know how profitable the game still is when winners compete each other. This will give them info how far they can go with further rake increases.

ALl stars looks like a good idea at first sight. They should really catter more to other games than NLH though. PLO specifically, as it could really need the boost. There is a lot of players enjoying PLO but It is raked to death and PLO players never get any promotion so it gets a bit dull to play PLO when you see all the promo that NLH gets.

There is no rake at all. They're even putting up $100k in prizes so they're effectively paying regs to play each other.
