The interesting part for me is that "most players won't notice any change". They're not even pretending anymore that the aim is to give more back to fish, just straight out slashing rb for winning players/non casino degens.

The 85% thing has been confirmed by a few folks on other forums sharing emails they got (probably old news now)

we want less bumhunting bc its bad, but people are bumhunting more and that is good. prolly just a communications errors.

This requires some research into what is ACTUALLY good for the games:
robbing the most loyal customers (snes) and there is just no other way to put it;
raising effective rake everywhere by lowering rewards;
introducing unbeatable game formats such as beatthecock w 11%+ rake 1 min levels and 12,5bb starting stacks;
introducing spins and since it was actually crushable raising rake, banning seating programs (which are legal in other games) and banning stables (no proof required);
making mtt-schedule as bad for grinders as possible;
making every mtt into psko and introducing deeper payouts;
raking rebuys;
lowering guarantees;
removing high-stakes rakeback;
removing hu tables and effectively killing hu since zoom has crazy rake;
laying off customer support;
casino games;
promotions that have worse ev than hourly at russian mcdonalds;
false advertising.

cant remember any more at the top of my head, but this should be enough to assume that players winning is not and has never been the goal for amaya.

this seems to be the biggest underlying issue. people can agree the industry is stagnant if not slowing bleeding, but no one has a solid solution on how to fix it. we as players mostly think they are ****ing up, and they as a company mostly think they are doing what is best. just no one knows for sure what is good for the online poker industry....

not entirely true. They started the process of turning pokerstars clients into losing casino players long time ago and are going forward in that direction. They give 0 ****s about what is good for the poker industry, they care about what is good for gaming/casino industry.

Party is changing the rb system and most likely gonna be worse. Mpn and ipoker are the ones offering decent rbs atm from the bigger networks. Acr allso I think but don't play there.

"net deposits" seems like the scariest part here, since I mean, do any winning players deposit ever??

Also sorry but I was away for a while when they changed owners, when they say RB they just mean player coins right, there isn't any other thing going on currently I'm missing right? In the past they never actually flat out said "rakeback" in emails that I recall.

Just cashout all once a week and deposit the next day and you are a depositor. Though this probably wont work and net depositor means deposits number must be bigger than cashouts.
