From reading the whole thread twice, I've discovered that some of the top countries were:

Canada (Vancouver), Spain (Barcelona), Italy, Thailand, Ireland, Denmark, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina (Buenos Aires), Colombia, Panama, or Eastern Europe

Australia = weather, women, relatively lost cost of living (not compared to Asian or other cheap countries, but its still OK), tax free poker earnings, beer, good times.

I've been living in Australia for close to a year now, and can't WAIT to get back to Norway. The weather is nice and all, but everything else pretty much sucks.

The women: Some of the Americans were impressed by the standard of women down here, but in 10 months I've met ~10 Australian girls that were above what I would consider a 7 back home in Norway. I thought .au would have all kinds of surfer chicks and whatnot, but the standard down here is pretty close to Britain if you don't count the Asians (AKA incredibly bad)

Cost of living: WAY more expensive than the states, but cheap compared to scandinavia (ldo). The cost of living in .au has skyrocketed during the last ~3 years.

Beer: There is nothing in the world more annoying than drunk aussies (apart from drunk brits..). There is an incredible amount of fighting going on every weekend - I would say the majority of aussie guys get aggro when they drink, that sucks.

Good times: The beaches are good.

Overall: Australia sucks balls.

Edit: Mauritius is imo the country in the world that is closest to perfect. The relative lack of casinos might sucks for those of you that wanna play live, but everything else just screams paradise.. The girls are hot, the weather is close to perfect, the beaches are beautiful, and everyone's extremely laidback. As for taxes; nonresidents are taxed only on their income from sources in Mauritius. The only problem I see is that the majority of people speak French, although English is the official language.

Um no, the Swedish girls are no more attractive than the girls you would find in any decent club here, less if anything. If the girls looked anything like the ones in the photos from the pig and whistle then it would be the worst bar or club I have ever been too in my life and anyone except the chavviest scum would avoid it like the plague. If you go out anywhere decent in any town or city with a university there will be good looking women everywhere, if there aren't the place is a dive and you should leave.

I've been back in Europe for 9 months after 3 years in Australia, and I wish I could go back. The weather sucks, the people are rude, it is overpopulated, poker is virtually unheard of and/or forbidden, the cost of living is ridiculous. Sure, Australia has its drawbacks (like people changing jobs so frequently that it's hard to find anyone who's competent in what they do), but I'd trade anytime.

And, btw, Australia isn't full of anything imo.
