Well, why don't you read the thread then? Because the tax is capped.

Re: pokerstars.FR ON STRIKE !

FYI,

First, The .FR strike will start next Sunday (7/11) from 4pm (GMT) to 7pm (GMT).
The results will be published in this thread

Then the poker community is having a break by watching the World Cup finale.

Then the ".COM strike" will start next Sunday (7/11) from 11pm to 2am (GMT)

i let the 2+2 members do the math to understand what is the schedule locally.

To do a .com strike, it is quite easy :
1-Log in Pokerstars.com
2-Filter on NL Holdem tables
3-Open the higher buy in cash game table reprsenting 1/10 of your bankroll (depending on your bankroll, if you have 1k target the NL0,5/1 ; if you have 10k, target the NL5/10...) :
3a-If the table is full and there is player that actually play, go on the waiting list
3b-If there is one empty spot, take it and select the "sit out" option
3c-If the table is already blocked, go on the waiting list
4-Repeat step 2 and 3 "ad nauseam" until your whole bankroll is splitted on 10,15 or even 20 tables

To be more effective :
-do not sit on a table where there is already 5/6 or 8/9 "sit out" player, the table is already blocked.
-everytime you're ejcted from a table after 3 orbits, go on the waiting list of the same table

PS : While your're striking cashgame, you can still enjoy Sunday million or whatever tourney and SitnGos you want to play.

-Write in the chatbox why you're doing it so the other players at the table join the strike too!

We didn't, authorities were trusting him blindfolded..... we hate Domenech since 2006 like we hate .fr sites since a week.

I see you have an international subforum, but can you have the registration available in english too?

I am a poker player from Greece and i have to say i am amazed with what you guys are doing right now. All eyes are on you. I dont play at stars but since i have an account there i might make a small deposit just to participate in the sitout protest.

Good luck

Re: pokerstars.FR ON STRIKE !

French article (Translated)

PokerStars French Country Manager "Alexandre Balkany"

Alexandre Balkany was arrested by the police driving his Porsche Carrera without a driver's license in the Bois de Boulogne, an area known to be a hangout of transvestites and their clients in Paris. In a place like that, a parked Porsche Carrera with plates from the Haute de Seine department caught the attention of the police, who decided to check the high-class car out, finding it empty. As the police was leaving the scene, they noticed a man leaving the woods. The man got back in the car, and as he was getting ready to drive away he was approached by the police, who requested his license and identification papers.

+1 more .com player sitting out on Sunday.

Its important for the long-term viability of online poker, that the situation in France not set a precedent for other markets considering regulation.
