But surely the problem is with the french authorities who took away french players rights to play on Pokerstars.com.

Don't want to sound like a shill and obviously the players have a choice to not play if they don't like the rake, but
from what I understand, the increase is only equal to the additional taxes/fees that the French government are charging. Apparently PokerStars are not making a penny more in profit from pokerstars.fr than they are from .com.

If they want to be upset with anyone, you would think it would be the French Government and policy makers.

sorry but i think ps.fr rake more than they should ( french tax includes).
did you rake 5% on .com?

it's 7% + here.
