There can never be any protesting about any poker regulations cuz NOBODY other than poker players understands ANYTHING about poker.

Re: Pokerstars.fr just started cash games tables and made them unprofitable

The Govt., possibly as a secondary motive (after collecting more taxes) probably wanted to take the heat out of the online poker industry in France, and other countries govts will attempt to do so in every other country where regulation occurs.

Govts do not want their citizens spending all their lives making a living playing online poker - they want you to work and pay taxes and be a good subject.

Re: Pokerstars.fr just started cash games tables and made them unprofitable

governement taxes is capped at 1€
pokerstars.com is capped at 2€
pokerstars.fr is capped at 3.5€ which is more than it should be

I was hoping that ps take a % of the governement taxes to help the player (with their huge margin they could have to) but in fact they added more rake to player in addition to the taxes

Nice move
Thanks Pokerstars

I've tested today, i've seen more fishes in 15 minutes than within a year on .com

2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked

BTN: $65.32
SB: $21.46
Hero (BB): $50.00
UTG: $52.89
CO: $103.09

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BB with J J
1 fold, CO calls $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, SB raises to $2, Hero raises to $16, CO calls $15.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($34.50) 5 Q K (2 players)
Hero bets $34 all in, CO calls $34

Turn: ($102.50) 5 (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($102.50) 7 (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $102.50
Hero shows J J (a flush, King high)
CO shows Q A (two pair, Queens and Fives)
Hero wins $99.00
(Rake: $3.50)

I feel like I'm being raped by the rakes (the level is pretty horrible though).
