I just received a disconnect message on stars, other people did too.

It was weird, I was playing and it d/ced but i was still able to play and the connecting bar came up, i press network status everything is 100%.

I exited server, and now i can't get back in.

Other friends having same issues, just happened 3 minutes ago.

Had the same thing happen as OP in my cash games but was also registered in a hyper mtt (500 chips) which I didn't get seated at and ended up blinding off.

Also noticed I can't register for any 'late reg' tournys. Don't think anybody else can either. So enjoy the overlays for the people who are playing.

Also if you look, there are people sat out in all the running tournaments.


Edit - after rebooting stars in now won't let me log back in.

Amaya in so much debt they couldn't afford to pay their server hosting bills.

Just tried to log in and it just sits on the connecting bar. The lobby seems to load fine in the background though..

You were experiencing what is called a "hanging login", generally caused by an abnormal shutdown of the PokerStars session between the user software and the server. This is common for players who leave their account logged in and get disconnected due to a server restart.

haha this happend to me too, was still able to play but could see others getting d/ced, had a full table break to leave only me and the mark HU . after i busted him i tried to restart stars and now cant get back in

We will be considering refunds for materially affected players. "Materially affected" means you missed a considerable number of hands and lost a significant portion of your chip stack due to blinds and antes. If you believe you were materially affected by this issue, please email us with the following subject line:

"REFUND: T#_________, $X+Y, User ID"

Where "________" is the Tournament ID, "X+Y" is the buy-in of the tournament, and "USERID" is your PokerStars User ID.

For example, "REFUND: T#123456780, $20 + 2, KidJoker"

For multiple tournament refund requests, please note additional tournaments in the text of your email. For example:

T#123456780, $20 + 2
T#123456781, $10 + 1,
T#123456782, $50 + 5
etc.

If you do not know the Tournament ID, you can find it in the PokerStars software using the playing audit feature. From the PokerStars Lobby screen, select:

'Requests' → 'Playing History Audit...'
