It was very clear what was being offered, the actually added the main event final table afterwards to areas without ESPN. They weren't shady on this at all. They had issues but not this one.

I don't have the address on hand but you can email them to cancel, there's also a live chat option so I assume you can cancel using that (I haven't cancelled yet).

Hola is what I used, easy to use and set up, although bt sport app is working for me tonight so I'm watching on that.

As from the UK I watched mainly live when on early and catch up the following day, which also covered the ESPN part which could not be watched live.
So I was surprised that I could not watch day 1 of the FT on demand the following day. Managed to watch in other ways, but this was annoying.

When I contacted PokerGO they came back fairly quickly, advised that they could not show in Countries which other companies had the rights for (not sure why this was different for the days leading up to final table?). BT have the UK rights.

As I advised that I wanted to cancel, as this was not made clear, they refunded the $10 (not checked if this has been done). Pleased that they refunded the money, as I think this is good customer service and have to admit I though the coverage was excellent. If they sort out these issues next year, I would be willing to pay for the coverage. All in all, a bit frustrating, but we have been calling for high quality coverage in previous years and I think they have provided this, so this is hopefully a step in the right direction. I feel the EPT (Pokerstars Festival) has got worse in the last couple of years and much preferred PokerGO.

So just the majority of people that bought the service that are stupid? Look at their subscribe page: "PokerGO brings you live poker on your terms. Never miss a day of coverage again with PokerGO Event Replays. Every live event is available on demand 24 hours after it airs." "LIVE POKER ON THE GO. Now you can watch the biggest poker events in the world – including Super High Roller Bowl, WSOP, and more, live on your phone, tablet, computer or other device." No mention or implication that the thing everyone will be wanting to watch "wsop me final table" will not be available. Click here while not signed in: https://www.pokergo.com/category/live-events. Small print "blackout restrictions apply" is the only thing indicating that you won't be able to watch any of it unless you're from Mozambique. The entire FAQ has no mention of whether or not you'll be able to watch the main event. Personally I feel bamboozled. Yeah, it's only $10, but I was hoping to simply watch the main event ft live and that was the main reason I paid. Main event ft has to be the #1 reason most people subscribed.

People complaining about the final table not being on PokerGo need to get a clue honestly. Pokergo is not going to out muscle ESPN for the rights to the final table. This whole thing was a joint deal with ESPN from the get go, the final table has been on ESPN since like 2002. PokerGo joined with espn to bring us the entire main event. ESPN was never going to concede the WSOP entirely.

Also the schedule has been here since Early June . Very clearly showing the final table on ESPN (like every other year). PokerGo is an addition not a replacement. It mentions the deal as a partnership immediately in that article.

Why is the detailed schedule on pokercentral.com but not pokergo.com? The fact that it's not on pokergo.com or any of the apps means that it isn't very clear at all.

Not everyone read every press release about the service. Even in the 3rd party article, it's a little unclear. "The World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event is broadcasting live beginning on Day 1A through a partnership with ESPN and PokerGO." "The 2017 WSOP Final Table archives are archived on PokerGO and the Main Event live coverage will be available in the On Demand section with 24 hours of airing." To me, that reads like the wsop me will live on espn and be available for streaming on pokergo 24 hours later. I'd personally not even complain if I could watch it all 24 hours after it aired on pokergo. It'd be slightly annoying, but I can wait.

Also, of course pokergo won't muscle ESPN out of its contract, but I assumed it'd likely work more like the paid sports apps (eg. NBA league pass), where if something is blacked out due to national airing, you can watch it in a few hours or a day. These aren't unreasonable assumptions to make.

Haven't been following this thread but just caught a few negative comments. I've paid the $10 for a month of coverage of the World Series and it's great coverage. Kudos to PokerGo, it's like the coverage that was there one time a few years ago where they covered the entire Main Event online. Hopefully this stays each year now.

Poker go is a dead set joke

Firstly, the 1 month free code didn't work.

secondly, I tried to unsubscribe at the end of the 1st month, but the shady c*nts want you to call them to do this?? So I call them from Australia costing $ and get a message saying they're on holiday for a couple of days..so I call back few days later and get a message saying they were closed for the weekend or some shyt! I end up leaving a message to call me back and they never did...which resulted in me unwillingly paying for another month of there lack lustre service.

Anyway I though ah well whatever, I'll watch the main event and then unsub. Now I find out I can't watch the final table, even like days after it's aired..ridiculous
I have hola and tried that before finding this thread, after seeing here that people have got it working with hola I've now tried again from many countries (including Mozambique!) and through different browsers, but it just keeps saying it's not available!

Man this ****s pissing me right off! Anyone got any ideas??

Yeah I've tried that already but cheers for the suggestion
What browser are you using?
Is anyone able to get it to work right now? Because I only first tried last night, and I'm thinking maybe it worked for everyone days ago but now they're onto it and have a block for hola or something?

email them for free to cancel: customerservice@pokergo.com
calling from Skype is insanely cheap/free

also request a refund when you email them, saying that you called etc with no reply and could not unsubscribe from their website

there was no 1 month free code (that I know of), it was if you signed up for 12 months you got $10 off the annual pass subscription rate

Wow, absolutely inappropriate that you cannot cancel a monthly subscription service through a web interface that takes you credit card and starts billing it. Requiring people to phone or email is just a manipulation to attempt to get people to "not bother" to cancel.

I called to cancel today, which they did, and they said "in the future" one will be able to cancel via the web interface.

Trying to use the service for the first time since the main and it's just sitting there loading forever, tried a couple different documentaries, tried exiting and going back in, the Roku app is a joke.
