Re: Poker Player Brad Booth stole ~$28,000 from Me
BS, 28k is a enough for me to not just let it go. If he cant repay it all in one large sum write up a loan contract where he pays x amount per month. Get what you're entitled to, back in the day if this happened I don't think he would exist anymore.

Re: Poker Player Brad Booth stole ~$28,000 from Me
Coming from a 2+2 legend. I find it hard to believe you didn't know he was broke. The fact that you are a hs reg in all forms of nl online poker on 2+2 makes this story even worst. Either you got to cocky and stop reading or you was just star struck. I would go with the latter. To top off the decision he wanted money on lock poker which is laughable if you ask me. Sounds like a scam from the get go. Your friend just wow, he hangs out with Brad and couldn't see this coming. Either he is an idiot or he was in on the scam. I would go with the latter on that to.
For future advice read NVG every once in awhile. We have the best posters here on the forum. Nothing gets past these guys and you should take that into account from here on out.

Re: Poker Player Brad Booth stole ~$28,000 from Me
Wonder if Booth is the guy DN was talking about in his rant a couple of weeks ago saying he was owed a lot but wasn't going to see it any time soon. And if so, maybe he should have come clean and prevented other people getting screwed too.

Sucks. Hopefully, it will end up being a cheap lesson. Similar things have happened to me. Now, I just don't really trust anyone.

Re: Poker Player Brad Booth stole ~$28,000 from Me
Brad Booth whent through alot of stuff lets not forget that. Ofcourse it doesnt defend any of his action but he should have never gone through all the cheating that broke him down on UB. Maybe poster should just walk up to Russ Hamilton and collect his debts from him would be kind of fair deal.

O hai guyz! So I'm online and a friend of a friend named Jose wants me to install a program called "Teamviewer". I don't read NVG so I don't know if there's any threads on such a situation. I figure it's cool; I'm a high-stakes reg so I know what I'm doing.
Jesus Christ, this forum is my only argument when people say poker players are smart.
FFS, why do you have $30,000 on a US-facing site in the first place?!?!?

Re: Poker Player Brad Booth stole ~$28,000 from Me
Dam, I thought Yukon Brad seemed pretty cool...
So, all the rest of you ballers carrying around crap-tons of cash, beware of anyone asking for money..duh!!
If its Obama/Doyle/Ted Nugent /Trump, dont matter!!!
With all the forms of money options now a days, nobody with money needs help getting money anywhere...
To the victim: Sorry for your loss dood...You'll grind it back up, will have learned a super costly lesson as well... booth is fk'ed, he'll be cast away to the island of misfit mascots with cheeno and e-dog and the others..Whatever kinda binge he's on, is unsustainable..
Attn: Daniel, cue rant!!!

Re: Poker Player Brad Booth stole ~$28,000 from Me
Sounds like this was a planned con, borrow a smaller amount so you can pay back right away in order to steal a much bigger amount. There is a decent chance your friend was involved in this plan too, Booth probably owes him a giant sum as well.
