The results of our study into the personality traits of online poker players are finally live. We measured 1) how overall personality deviated from the general population and 2) correlations between players' specific personality traits and poker stats. I think we got some very interesting findings!

Pretty awesome effort guys. Definitely deserve much kudos, and this kinda thing will definitely get you much recognition so go for the full academic as well. Also, don't be afraid to approach card rooms, tv, the poker sites etc. This kind of awesome work deserves some reward for you guys!

read it again. you can not let this go light. publish it with serious scholarly interest and further the study. you will need to enlarge the sample group; you will need to specify the results and classifications but it will obv lead to more or less the same results. This kind of thing will get you so far if marketed correctly. you can help the software become much more player friendly, and the game theory (if you care for this) much more complicated, and add so much more to the game. don't let this work go to the way side!

You gotta decide whether you want to focus it on both live and online, or just one of the two. But either way I think you should increase the sample size dramatically. Anyway, excellent job! It was quite interesting, and I think you can get some serious interest in this topic with some improvements.

OK , just read it, very falwed and kinds stupid, sorry OP. You should remove the words poker player with "internet nerd" and you have your real study. Johnny Chan and Tuan Le, and all the guys i play poker with dont shrare anything with your 'study'

But your illiteracy aside, I think you sound really cool because you play with big name pros and don't associate with internet nerds! I just hate guys who beat online poker, you know they've never left their basement and just spend all their money on videogames!
