Lol hit and run, in a 150k hand game that mostly revolves around luck, why would someone, who makes a few million in a short time not hit and run, but instead risk it all in the next half hour

Sounds like the only thing they 'have' him on is that he didn't give them the length of time he would play, which might have factored in to his limit being bumped. Still really weak.

Sure, but if he lost theyd be offering him escorts to blow him to come back nightly. F casinos, they are scummy fake people.

Ivey got 900k a month for 5 years from FTP..do the math

7.3million at 150k/hand is <50 bets up. That is not even such an unlikely streak to go on right from a casinos point of view? I guess they are just being little bitches.

Cant wait for a movie made about this man.

True boss.

Doesn't make it easy to convince American lawmakers that poker is a game of skill and not gambling, when the world's number one player is a pit game degenerate.

Considering this is the Daily Mail, there's a good chance that it's not even slightly true.

And as for the casino, I can just imagine how they would have acted if Ivey had just lost 50 hands in a row and gone broke.

'Before you leave, Sir, we are a little concerned that something was amiss for you to have had such an unlucky run at the table. We are launching an investigation and may well be returning your money'.

I like the fact that there's not a single piece of evidence to show this is anything other than completely made up;

- The casino refused to comment
- Ivey said 'go away I'm trying to play a poker tournament"
- Iveys mum said she didn't know anything about it.

But that's find daily mail, just roll with it.

pretty disgusting that casinos have this kind of ******ed power, gross hope he gets the money just out of spite i have for casinos in general. If he had lost it would have been no problem lols

casino would surely have denied it though, this is pretty awful publicity imo- doubt many high rollers read the daily mail tho lol

The casino wouldn't comment either way, they don't want to do anything to make gamblers feel they don't respect their privacy.

I feel like most people on here don't realise that 90% of daily mail articles aren't true, there is a tiny possibility this actually happened and everyone is acting like its fact.

Cliffs: Phil hits up London casino, wins 7.3 million british pounds in 2 days (7 hours total play). He was accompanied by gorgeous asian woman, turns out she was banned from property , this prompts investigation. They cant find any signs of cheating. Casino still refuses to pay.
