Well obviously he is not ahead in all forms of gambling if he had to borrow $5m from FTP, and couldn't pay it back. We only hear about his big wins, never about the massive losses.

Lets say you take away his entire full tilt money, what would his bank roll be? 10m? 15m? Sure its hell of a lot of money, but even 15m is not enough money to be having sessions of 3m etc.. soo like i said, makes me wonder how much he got from Full Tilt
i guess you must have missed the "world dice tour" on poker road lol

those who follow the "life of ivey" have seen him gamble for millions multiple times

isnt it pretty understood the loans were so he could have "virtual funds" to put into play at the virtual felt at FTP? (as opposed to him being broke and in need of a loan/stake/bankroll) I also thought that its likely (some of)these loans were for loans to durrrr and other players to play Isildur1...so I'd also assume (some of)the loans would also be for other player transfers to play online...HOW wrong am i with these statements?

From the famous anecdotes, to his demeanor, and records, we can assume Ivey has a ridiculous bankroll. Ivey beat some of the best online players (Gandolf, hoss_tbf type ppl in addition to the regs) for 20M+, and he was known to be gambing very high before FTP became big.

Should Ivey deserve the flak for not giving a **** about FTP on the business side, missing all the board meetings etc? yes. But I highly doubt Ivey was thinking when playing these games post-BF, oh **** FTP they gave me so much its just a freeroll or smth along those lines
I think you´ve just fallen for the ridiculous PR crap we all have been fed by the poker companies. For one, Ivey was paid out like 10 million a year by FTP. Don´t you think that kind of money would have been a MAJOR part of his income in those years? Also, having this kind of passive income only made it possible for him to play those lol huge games (FTP/High Stakes Poker etc etc). So OBVIOUSLY, no matter how good a player he is, the income from FTP played a massive part in how much money he actually made. I would be a lot of money that his bankroll is below 8 figures these days, thanks to his costly divorce, huge degen habits etc etc.

Not talking conspiracy here, but I think it´s kind of interesting to see how the guy who absolutely demolished nosebleeds on his own site now turned into a break-even/slightly losing reg on Pokerstars (same for Antonius obviously).

I'm pretty sure they said he made 500k/month for 5 yrs or something, which amounts to 30M

You're also forgetting live cash games, where every high stakes reg has said he absolutely crushes, and probably has made a significant chunk

We have no idea if he plays on stars, RaiseOnce shows several characteristics that are different from ivey, even if he has a couple of similarities/coincidences, there's just no way we can know for sure

Antonius has won tons of money online on euro sites as well, i'm not sure i understand your point, he has a ton of aliases and i'm sure if you tracked all of them throughout the past 10 yrs, the amt he has won would make his compenssastion pale in comparison

You can criticize them for not playing an active role (well, you can't criticize antonius since he was added very late in the whole scheme of things), but I'm not sure its fair to say they are playing these stakes with abandon exclusively or mostly because they are receiving this money

What goes around comes around.

But it does seem like the casino doesn't want to pay just cause it's a lot of money. ****ing casinos, they'll take all your money no problem but if you win a lot of their money suddenly there's a big conspiracy and they need to triple check everything and launch investigations.
