So what's the deal with Six Plus Hold'em? Is that a real thing or do they just play it in Macau ? And why are both of them trying to promote it? And why is Dwan still so awkward? Not that Ivey is much more telegenic...

Well Dwan is looking a lot better than he did in the 2014 Aussie Millions. Probably not as busto and stressed as everyone is making him out to be.

Seems like it has to be holdem with the 2,3,4 and 5s removed from the deck?

This. There are actually quite a few card decks around the world that only start at 6.

A Flush beats a Full House, and Three-of-a-Kind beats a Straight. An Ace can be a five to make an A-6-7-8-9
Straight, or a 10-J-Q-K-A Straight. All suited is a Straight Flush. Best five of seven cards wins. That means only two
of your three hole cards can be used, and three of the four community cards.
