Yikes. I agree PTR should be banned at least until there is some kind of opt-out option like the one Sharkscope is piloting. But a lot of the other suggestions seem really outlandish to me. Anonymous tables? I mean, really, WTF is that all about? Developing a sense of history with the regulars in your games is a part of poker, and one of the things that makes it interesting. I'm not too big on sn changes for similar reasons but the less frequently the option can be exercised the more inclined I am to accept it as a compromise.

When you say 'observed HH's are gone' what do you mean. Does tilt not allow you to datamine now or just not see the previous hand in the last hand section of the screen if you are not playing?

When NBC first had the online HU qualifier (many years ago), it was done on their own HU site (very bad site). They allowed changing your screen name but when you did a pair of sunglasses became your avatar. This, or something similar, could be done to let other player know. They don't know your previous name but they know you are not a newbie. Same as when you play live, you know when the new guy that just sat down and starts shuffling a stack of 20 chips has been at a poker table before, but you know nothing about his game. I would think have the glasses on for two weeks and only allowing screen name change once a month could work.
