Amaya has raped online poker. There is nothing that can really be done. It took a few years but the global effects of Black Friday are truly taking hold.

This reminds me of the mobs of torch-bearing inbred villagers baying for blood in the old Hammer horror films.

Daniel didn't suck anybody's blood. Amaya don't make puppies smoke cigarettes. They are conducting business in a professional way, and have announced some price rises that a lot of people don't like.

Just because Daniel is the only person associated with the company that you can remember the name of, don't pick on him. The chance that he was in the decision loop on this, or that he can change it, are exactly zero.

Thing is, now the same amount of their money will go to winning players, but more than before will go to rake.

You can not increase rake and have it magically appear from no where. They will lose the same to winning players and lose more to rake. But winning players will lose more to rake.

You can conceptualize it differently. However the math gets done --> more for Stars, less for everyone else.

Oh, I'm in the U.S.; I can not play on Stars.

You think Daniel's sponsorship might be in jeopardy, just like Isildur and Gus'?

If Stars is trying to take things more in the direction of casinos, am starting think that maybe they might prefer sponsors that play slots like a Candy Spelling type instead?

Guess there just seems to be so many changes that have occurred that it seems like maybe even Daniel's sponsorship could maybe be not such a sure thing, who knows?

So many changes
