yeah but that's not because he wants the owners to make less money its because he wants to get paid the same money for doing less. Michael Jordan responded in the media to Lebron here saying that if players want less games they should get less money.
As far as I am aware Lebron would not want to play less games if he got less money. the point been made was DNeg makes money from stars and would not want to make less money from stars, like Lebron would not want to argue to get less money. That been said picking Lebron was a pretty bad choice for an example.
although really its not money orientated its simply because Lebron James knows he can never surpass the Legendary Michael Jordan, and Lebron wants that throne. he cannot beat 72 wins in a season, however if they lowered the games in a season he may be able to beat the 87.8% win rate over a small sample by luck boxing it.
