this is a heartwarming thread actually. i watched the documentary someone posted and was basically brought to tears about it. it started off lame but this thread is full of win

You know, after watching some of the main event videos, and interviews, I'm thinking eastgate is an all around good guy. Good for our game as well.

I like the way he carries himself, and he seems like a really intelligent person. I was pretty impressed how he carried himself under what had to be tremendous pressure, and the fact that he stayed even tempered.

He's so young, and still driven( even after the main event win) and bright, he may very well be one of the better players this game has seen if he keeps all those atributes I mentioned.

I also want to retract my opinion that I think he has aspergers, he may well, but to tell you the truth after watching him a bit I'm not so sure anymore. I feel like if it was confirmed he did, I wouldn't be surprised, and if it was confirmed he did not, it wouldn't surprise me either.

Either way the kid can play cards, it'll be interesting to see what the future brings to him.

These days everyone who seems a little shy or awkward in social situations has autism.

It is not as hard as you think. The counting is pretty easy. As a matter of fact the problem is finding dealers who deal fast. Once you learn perfect basic strategy it all comes down simple adding and subtracting and then dividing by the number of decks left and then multiply that number by your basic betting unit and walla your rich.
