Aussie Millions $100k averages 25 players per year.

I think PCA will get close to 40. Tons more players in Bahamas, and online players will pool their money to stake people.

Over 20 for sure. It being televised means stars is going to put a bunch of their pros in. I would say between 30 and 40 if not more.

Because it seems exceedingly unlikely that this guy will bet a decent amount on his claim, here's my (very optimistic) list. Keep in mind that some of these would almost certainly only play if Stars pays (Rousso/Hachem).

Cada x
Rousso x?
Grinder x? probably depending on debt/backers/where he finishes in WSOP ME
Grinder's bro
Hachem x? only if Stars buys him in, ldo
Doyle
Todd Brunson
Gus x
Juanda

Jaka
Seiver x?
Veldhuis
Cunningham
Mortenson

Haxton x?

Hastings

Townsend
Urindanger
Trex
Jungleman

Cardrunner guys might send whichever one is the best nl MTT player, but probably not, don't really know how much Dang Bros and Jungleman like MTTs so can't comment on them.

If you count all the guys I listed as x?, which is extremely optimistic, and 2 of the final 6 names, you reach 20. And this doesn't include things like Gus finding some sick backgammon action or whatever. I think it's unlikely that more than 15 in this list will play.

You can probably include Benyamine.

Too bad this 100k is at the beginning of PCA as I'd play after shipping the ME

I think Hellmuth is more likely than Antonius.
