Re: PartyPoker and Ongame Network to merge

According to that press release it will be April, at soonest, before they are even officially merged.

They are both publicly listed companies so they have to get shareholder approval and a bunch of other stuff.

bwin.party is a pretty dumb named for the merged company imo

Re: PartyPoker and Ongame Network to merge

Anyone who plays tourneys and thinks this is a good thing is deluded. Any news of a proposed tourney schedule for when they join?. most likely instead of say two hundo freezeouts at the same time there will just be just one increasing variance. Plus ongame is soo much more reliable than party poker whoms site likes to go down every other week and the customer service is crap. If this falls through I will be super happy

Re: PartyPoker and Ongame Network to merge

Today, I've received the following email from hollywood poker (it is about latest FBI actions against PS, FTP...):

We will continue to provide our players with the most safe, secure and legal online poker product available in the market today. With our publically traded partners, Bwin, PartyPoker Ongame and our EU based gaming license you can feel commitment in your ability to play legally and safely.

What suppose to be partypoker ongame??

Re: PartyPoker and Ongame Network to merge

funny the timing of these two networks with relation to Black Friday or am I just being cynical?

Any word on whether they will join player pools yet?
