When Party/Bwin's merger took place it made them the largest publicly traded online gaming company in the world.

Sounds kinda confusing to me. Bwin and Party are merging, but the rest of the Ongame Network is remaining separate, and will be going "up for sale"?

I'm confused also. The way I read it is Bwin and Party player pools will merge, but the rest of the OnGame network will be sold off? Sounds like a bad deal for the rest of OnGame imo.

Yeah, would be cool if someone who knows more about this could chime in and tell us what this will mean to other skins of Ongame network.

Not to be a smartass, but Merge shouldn't be capitalized. It possibly makes it look like Party and Bwin are moving to the merge network.

When betfair went on to the ongame network I stopped playing.

When software doesn't even have a join table function (like ongame) you know it's bad. If party switch their software they are crazy!

You might want to change the thread title because I thought PTY/BWin was going to join Merge network :P

+1

i have lots of money on Tower Gaming (Ongame)....so what happens to these other Ongame skins? should i insta withdraw all money now to be safe?

I rather have the italians/french players back than this merger.

OP, can you also post this in the Internet Poker forum please?

From what I know, due to the merger Ongame will be sold by Bwin.
This means the other skins will continue to be on the Ongame network but without Bwin.
Bwin and Party have not ruled out being in partnership with the Ongame Network. Which would mean Ongame traffic would also be shared with Party and Bwin - which would be a good thing for you.
More likely is that somebody like Betfair will buy Ongame.
Skins should remain without too many problems but if you have a serious roll on there it might be worth taking some of it out.

I reckon there's nothing to worry about if have ur money on one of them bigger skins like betfair or eurobet (not familiar with Tower). On those bigger operators usually casino and sport betting are where their money comes from and poker is just something to have on the side. Obv if someone has reliable info on this or on the merger in general, pls share.
