OP is obviously very intelligent and the only one around here who seems to have a critical mind.

PA is a winner liftime at poker but it's pretty obvious he is not at NLHE unless he meticolously selects his tables. Because whenhe goes through a time where he wants to play the best, he gets pwned.

Saying PA is not that good at NLHE as some of his colleagues as THE SAME as sayuing durrrr and Jman arent good at Omaha H/L.

It's just a fact there to see for anyone with the following characteristics:

- is able to read hand histories
- is able to see PA's NLHE vids on his training sites and has an intelligent critical mind
- and is able to actually hear HIM SAY during his vids THAT HE DOES NOT EVEN LIKE PLAYING NLHE AS A CASHGAME and doest not consider it his strongest game.

Patrik says in 2007 that NL hold em heads-up is his favorite game, and best game.

Guys like Brian Townsend and Patrik Antonius say they enjoy PLO more the instant they downswing at NLHE.

Now this isnt Specific to PA, but why does everyone try to rip on every pro? I think HE isn't PA's best game, I am pretty sure he would be the first to admit that. Now why is your argument about why he is no good based on the fact that Durr and Ivey outplayed him. I don't know many people on this planet that wouldn't get outplayed by those two, other great pros do. Now if Antonius consistently got outplayed by fish that would be one thing, but being outplayed by the best in the world doesn't mean much

This thread is old, and not very cool, but PA kinda stopped having NLHE as his main game as soon as omaha became semi-popular. Sometimes you get the feeling that americans didnt think poker existed pre FTP. PA killed the NLHE and the LHE games on euro sites(mainly prima network) under I_Knockout_U for a very long time. (200/400 NLHE tables existed) when 10/20 Partypoker were the hottest stuff around. This being in ~2005-2006.

When i think back at pokers, i rejoice at the moments and drama of the norweigan kill squads(bad_IP - johnny lodden amongst others) vs the swedish kill squads(bengt sonnert and some other swedish santas and swe-randoms) vs the finnish hero PA with a cheater in between somewhere as the_terrorist.

Oh man the drama and action was unbelievable for the times.
