this is my preferred option imo. the Man's option

Clayton can you explain this player A player B reporting to FTP thing again a bit more clearly? I have no idea what you're trying to say, and therefore I can't really support your view.

Re: View: FTP needs to change their HU cashgame hierarchy

I think it goes like this

Player A sits at an "A" table to catch fish
Player B shark sits
Player A reports Player B to FTP because player A is "waiting to play my friend at this table" or something like that
Player B gets booted off table and Player A goes back to waiting for fish.

Correct?

Gladly.

If you look at the tables, they are arranged alphabetically. Thus the players sitting alone at tables that start with "A" have a better chance of catching a fish than the players sitting at tables that start with... I dunno, "J".

So let's say I want to get one of those "A" tables, because I will play anyone on the site at 1/2 and I want the top real estate.

I sit at the top table and the player there says "NO TY". I ignore this for 15 minutes until he says again "NO TY PLEASE LEAVE OR I WILL REPORT YOU TO FTP". Either I leave and he gets the table, or I stay and FTP possibly punishes me.

The end result is the prime-real estate, the tables that start with A, being given to the players who wont play anyone but fish and will go to the ends of the earth to ensure that they keep those tables.

This also means less rake for the sites because nobody battles for the prime real estate.

Overall it just promotes a really unhealthy environment for HU games. I wouldn't mind if all poker sites didn't have HU games, but if you're going to institute HU games then you need to make it so the best tables belong to the players who will play anybody.

Actually player A can just say "Player B is blocking my table, WTF" and player B can be reported. Player A doesn't need any kind of excuse, because under FTP's rules system he gets the right to the table since he sat first.
