Just curious. Which is the most popular starting day -- 1A, 1B, 1C, or 1D? Do the number of entrants vary wildly between the days, or do they try to spread the field out evenly across all four days. Finally, is there a cap per day? Does anyone entering late on the 4th starting day risk being locked out of the event before the registration period is over because the day filled up?

There are only three starting days this year. People were locked out 3(?) years ago. Not sure how high the daily cap is

I think day 1C (last years' day 1d) because then you just keep momentum going. Nobody wants to play 1A, and then wait 3 days for day 2.
