I think that the cash games are segregated but they play the same MTTs.

Both cash game and SNG/MTTs are with world pool even if we have have to log through a national site.
The reasons are much more probably the cost of an additional license, the size of the market and the fact that PS already has de facto a monopoly on the Belgian market.

Re: Official PokerStars announcement regarding FTP and DoJ (no low content /meme posts please,
Can anybody tell me what happened with the Money in the Game? I played a tournament, 3 Players left and we had $1k safe. Then the game stopps and the Black Friday made it bad for all of us. So, can anybody tell me, what is with this Scenario? Do we get our Buy-In back? Or the 1k safe, or what? Any Ideas?

Likely, the standard chop scenario is what happened, meaning whatever the rules were whenever servers went down and tourneys had to be chopped. I think it was chip count ratio to total prize pool, but am not positive.

Re: Official PokerStars announcement regarding FTP and DoJ (no low content /meme posts please,
I won a FTP satellite tourney which awarded entry to a live tourney. The live tourney was cancelled when FTP went down (and so I never received the value of the package won). Will the tourney entry fee be refunded along with the regular account balance?

Re: Official PokerStars announcement regarding FTP and DoJ (no low content /meme posts please,
obviously it should and will. PS doesnt seem to be a unfair company as they have proven time and time again. So if I were to answere, yes you will get refunded the full amount of your won entry fee.
Worst case senario I can see is PS paying you slightly below cost like they did on points when they paid out US players. Over all I believe it will be fair.
Why are you all asking such nonsense questions when the answer is semi obvious or you just have to wait.
PS have even stated that they want to reopen FTP asap and start rebuilding its credibility. Cheating you in this scenario does not accomplish their goal.

So this goes for like 90% of the questions in this thread; PS will make this right. So all of you asking odd ball questions about your unique scenario; as yourself how would this be resolved fairly and that's prob what would happen. If it doesn't, I am still confidant that you will be happy with the results of what they decide.
PS has pretty much always done things right so why would it change now?
They want to reopen FTP and rebuild its reputation and have it to be synonymous as PS.

Re: Official PokerStars announcement regarding FTP and DoJ (no low content /meme posts please,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but immediately before AGCC pulled the plug, a lot of us were in the middle of clearing the min-year bonus for which we played consistently 6 months before that. Is PokerStars going to take this into account?

will player funds be segregated in separate bank accounts, or will the policy concerning this will be the same as it used to be (not segregated with alderney licensing)

no it is not correct. Nothing in the deal indicated when and if US players can play.

Full Tilt converted those at 1 for 1 a while back.
