You have to use an image hosting website like imgur or photobucket.

Then just copy/paste the IMG code. You can't directly upload a photo to the site.

Well, I don't know who to send this to or where to put this but I do know it probably needs to be said. There isn't a discussion of "internet poker moderation" and so this is the closest fit I can find.

AFAICT My thread was closed because the $10 fee (wrongly charged in my submission) is "not a lot of money" and that I have received my withdrawal (I haven't actually received it in to my bank account) so there is no problem at all.

I would like the following to be considered in determining the threads fate:

-I have received a pm from someone else who is having the exact same problem! His second withdrawal attempt has not made it to his bank in over two weeks from the time it was requested.
-The amount being wrongly charged in fees shouldn't determine the threads fate!
-Although the money has been returned to my Skrill account, the money has NOT made it to my Bank.
-"Lots of people having problems with Skrill and not posting about them" seems like another absurd point. (I wish more people had been posting about problems with skrill, maybe I wouldn't have signed up with them in the first place!)
-"nothing 2+2 can do about this" seems wrong. Leaving the thread open seems like a simple thing 2+2 can do to help me and others. (Isn't other people being able to see the reports of shady goins ons a reason the shady goings ons are reported in the first place?)

I would have just left it alone once the thread was closed but after receiving the pm I realized this could be a bigger problem than a simple screw up plus fee.

Oh and here's the thread:

If this is about an issue in another forum (not in NVG), then you want to post your issue/complaint in "About the Forums (ATF)".

Or you could PM the mods of the forum - in this case, I'd suggest PMing Mike Haven, as he closed the thread.

Why was this deleted removed? It's a very relevant topic in online poker..

You're going to have to be more specific.

If you're referring to the thread about MAing, it was locked because people wouldn't stop asking/talking about specific ways for US players to circumvent site TOS's so they could play on sites like PokerStars. It's against 2p2 policy to allow such discussion. After the thread was locked for that reason, the OP requested it be deleted entirely - he did not want the thread there if he could not respond in it any longer.

A very well known player admitting to multi accounting is a big deal and was going to be a very big thread. It should have been moderated rather than removed completely

Given 2p2s stance on allowing people to openly discuss methods of circumventing site restrictions on US players (it isn't allowed), we'd have to have a mod sitting on that thread to ensure compliance. Which we can't really do 24/7.

I warned the OP and the thread, more posters decided to try to talk about and request specific info on how to play on sites like PS from the US. That's not allowed, so I locked the thread, then nuked it by request of the OP.

I get it would have been an interesting thread, but since people aren't willing to stay within the lines, given 2p2 policy it wasn't likely to stay open for long.

Why not just edit out the posts that mention how to play on PS etc? The thread was more important and relevant to the community than 99.9% of NVG threads.

Because, again, we'd need a mod sitting on the thread 24/7 to edit out those type of posts, otherwise they sit there for hours discussing something that is prohibited on 2p2.

This isn't rocket science. We don't allow specific discussion of methods to circumvent site TOS so that US players can play on sites like PS. There was a brief discussion, I deleted it, warned the OP and the thread. That night when I popped back around again, I found multiple other posters had done it again.

It was obvious (to me) that short of a mod sitting on the thread 24/7, which isn't going to happen because we have lives and ****, people weren't going to stick to what was allowed and were going to use the thread as a method of trading info and helping each other figure out how to play from the US. We don't allow that, so I shut down the thread.

You can bitch at me all you want, but maybe you should place some of the blame on people who can't follow simple directions like "don't ask about or talk specific methods of circumventing site TOS because you personally as a US player want to figure out how to play on PS".

Would it have been possible to give one stern warning of full bans? Then simply ban people as they broke it, I imagine that would have stopped it very quickly.

Wouldn't it have been better to make a post as a mod saying something like: "Anyone who posts such and such will be banned, consider this a warning."
Then you pop in later and delete and ban anyone who breaks the rules. I'm sure after about 10 people being banned, the **** would stop.
Wouldn't this be better than punishing all the people who legitimately want to discuss something very important? I mean, you don't close other threads when people break the rules, you punish the rule breakers, so why do it in this instance?

I think you made the wrong decision this time although I am normally a huge SGT RJ fanboy.

History suggests that would not work, as new posters don't always read the thread before jumping in.

I was willing to leave the info up, but the OP requested the thread be deleted if it was locked. It was locked because at least four different posters asked or in some other way tried to use the thread to discuss prohibited material. And that was in just the under a day it was up.

If we had the mod power or interest to monitor the thread 24/7 the thread would be possible. But we don't, so it isn't.

I'd be willing to consider a second try (if the OP wants) with the rules for the thread very clearly spelled out in the OP so people are aware that if they step over the line, they are going to get slammed and slammed hard.

This is a horrible time of year for a thread that requires a very active mod presence but if the OP is interested in seeing if we can work something out have him contact me.

Has removing the link from the OP of Haseeb thread been considered? I feel like posting in it is contributing to selling a scammer's crappy ebook.

I didn't move it out of NVG, I merged it with the other thread that had already discussed the issue.

If you click on the previous thread, it will take you right to where it is now (still in NVG).
