As a low volume player (maybe 50k hands a year) and playing PL10, should I play on Stars or FTP? Talking about rake.

EDIT: Ok, seen the tweet above and it looks like 13.00hrs GMT. Sigh.

Also, why the **** do PS still use US Eastern Time on their website for tourney starts etc; Surely, GMT/BST should be default due both to where Stars are based and where the (I'm assuming!) majority of players are logging in from(Europe as a whole).

So that means not before 0500 GMT tomorrow. I still think we're likely looking around midday.

for people who cant figure out the timezones. midnight ET is in 12 hours.

so it is at least(!!) another 12 hours, prob more like 15-16h until restart.

Checked the OP, but no info on this: will the transfer function (both FTP > FTP and FTP > Stars) be available from the moment FTP is re-opened?

Yeh, support confirmed this last week:


You will be able to transfer the funds back and forth between your FTP and PokerStars accounts, after the 6th of November. It should be done in a few minutes.
