re: Official FTP Relaunch Thread (OP updated October 26, 2012)

Got my email saying my documents were verified and my account was active, but they didn't change my country from the United States to Costa Rica. So they have my documents, they supposedly approved them but they still won't activate my account after they said they already did.

Full Tilt: New ownership, same crappy service

email:

Hello Sean,

Thank you for your reply.

This message is to confirm that we have received clear and legible copies of the following documents:

- Photographic identification
- Proof of registered address

These documents verify both your identity and place of residence as registered on your Full Tilt Poker account. As such, I am happy to inform you that your Full Tilt Poker account has been fully activated and is available for access at this time.

Thank you for your patience during this verification process. Your cooperation in preserving the security of your account is greatly appreciated.

On behalf of Full Tilt Poker, I wish you the best of luck on the tables. If you have any future questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

Jonathan
Full Tilt Verification Team

No, they never had that before. So is stockpiling the Ring Game Tickets better or the cash bonus? Seems like the Ring Game Tickets are better still.

it seems so for me, dont really know for sure but both have to be cleared and if you play cash anyway, ring game should give more $ per FTP.

Anyone know what American players who moved abroad are supposed to do to reactivate their account? This thread is too cluttered to find any information.

No. OBV no.
It seems that it is possible to convert FTPs to FPPs. I just got an email response from Full Tilt support:

Thank you for contacting us.

Account pairing is the optional process of connecting your Full Tilt Poker (FTP) account to your PokerStars account.

You do not have to pair your accounts if you do not wish to do so, however if you do, you will gain access to transfer funds back and forth between your FTP and PokerStars accounts, including FTP points to FPPs (1FTP is 0.25 FPP).

You can send them id and address verification. People have had varying degrees of success apparently.

.435/100 pts for $2000 Bonus

Is there any other shortfall for the Ring Game Ticket other than the 7 day unused expiry?
You are right. At the moment the tickets are on sale( until the 18th) and are more valuable.
One disadvantaged is that at some point you would have to play short-stacked unless you are willing to drop a level or two.
The tickets also have some advantages.
- You will likely loose the ticket before collecting the points needed to release it. Most likely a lot sooner.
- You cannot loose money with a ticket. This is not case while clearing a cash bonus.
- You can use tickets while clearing a cash bonus.
