This is baaaaaaaad. It would be awesome if it was 25% for everyone + extra for high volume grinders. Now its just bad. I was all ready to deposit few K. Now I wont bother.

What kind of compensation can we expect for 40+ iron month and our medals?
I already feel ripped off before you even relaunched now.

I'm happy. The old system wasn't fair and the new one seems fair. Don't understand your problems, 25%+ is quite ok.

I wonder whether ftp will offer a sng leaderboard again?

all in all its not that bad and since I think, its prolly better to have lower RB and less nitty rakeback-pros on a site, I dont have a real problem with it. PRobalby bad for highvolume-players and good for the majority of ppl

Surprise for you...all the nitty rakeback-pros aren't/weren't on FTP with their flat 27% rb. They're on another site.

This is also not good for the majority of ppl which is the casual player. Now they'll probably end up with 5%-10% tops. Great for FTP owners. Not great for the player.

How is 25 % fair? Its prolly one of the lowest rakebacks industry wide.
And what you dont take into consideration: the supposedly "difficult" system on FT even made the fish play more, so they can reach certain iron man levels, grind off their mid and end year bonuses and other promotions. All this will be gone when you got a simple points for cash system.
Besides, its freaking boring and just another Pokerstars clone, something Shyam at first made believe wont be happening.
How is this gonna be attractive or even creative?

anyone whos thinks the new method is ok clearly doesnt play poker that seriously at all, the new system just muggs off anyone who played on FTP seriously. and its got slightly better for the people who played for a laugh and didnt really care...guess what?! they also dont care about the new system that probably benefits them an extra 5% because its worth about $10 a month to them.
would love it if shayam addressed any of the comments that the new system is a rip off, but i guess all he can do is try and sell it as best he can because i guess its not his fault its only what pokerstars are telling him to do.

pokerstars rewards tier system is complete bollacks. theres a reason we played on FTP and not PS when both were running.

No, you read it wrong. Your direct weekly payments accrue at an equivalent rate to $2.50 per 100 FTPs although I expect it is pro-rated not incremental. You still have the FTPs you accrue to spend in the store.

Without the deductions from your direct rakeback the points will be worth $4.54 per 1000 FTPs if you buy the 5k bonus for 1.1m FTPs.

The top tier is 25%. We don't know how hard it is to get yet, only that it is "significantly easier" than black card (which was a 500 point a day average). I guess it will be around 1000 points a week? This was what the "cash back bonus" required isn't it? Perhaps someone can remember.

He also indicated Black Card would return. I hope it does with the point multipliers intact, as someone on the higher tiers would effectively get 35 or 40% then.

Oh yeah, thats right.
Of course under the new system you'll get much less points, since they are calculated wc too then.
