Official FTP Relaunch Thread (OP updated October 26, 2012) - Page 193 - Poker News

Can somebody please confirm that the following is not based on any false asumptions/information? Would be much appreciated.

Background: micro stakes cash game player, edge status diamond for the next 180 days.

1. Take advantage of the ringgame ticket sale and buy ring game tickets before Nov. 18th. Since I 4-table I will buy 4 200$-Tickets.
2. Clear the iron man bonus not using the ring game tickets (ring game tickets not allowed for that).
2a. Play at least once within 7 days using each ring game ticket so they don't expire
4. Upon clearing the iron man bonus (or on the 20th of december whichever comes first) claim the deal me in bonus.
4a. Clear the deal me in bonus again not using the ring game tickets.
5. Resume normal play using the ring game tickets

Is this correct? Does anybody know wheather happy hour points count towards clearing a bonus?

Everything u said is totally right!

Happy Hour Points doesn't count for any promotion Bonus!

I made 2 deposits via Echeck. About a hour later I tried to make 2 more and then they went to processing and then eventually disappeared and I was not credited the money. I then received a email asking for my ID, Bank Statement/ proof of address and proof of ownership of that instadebit account xxxx. Which was the numbers of my bank account. I am sure they mean echeck as i have not used instadebit. Instadebit must process for them.

I no can not log back in. I have sent in the documents. Has anyone had this problem if so have they been verified yet, how long did it take? Never fails to have a problem the first day.

Not normal. I sent ID and bill with address and got response in less than 24h (Nov 2). follow up with them.

Been approx 1.5 hours here for start -> ftp transfer. Hoping it goes through soon, itching to play! I'm guessing I can buy a ring game ticket and start playing with that until funds clear?

Full Tilt rapes the **** out of my CPU going up to 70-80% which heats my laptop up. Pokerstars uses barely a fraction of that. Anyone got any idea on how I can reduce that on this machine? Its putting me off playing there altogether.

You can check if you have one active through your my promotions page. I do so I guess I'll just have to wait for that to finish before DMI.

Thanks for this, I was frantically searching every FTP bonus page trying to figure out why I hadn't received mine. Then it turned out that I had instead started clearing the iron man mid year bonus, which does not show up in the "cashier" "bonus account" tab, explains why I didn't find it.

You have to click the "promotions" tab on your client and select "my promotions".

From there click the "iron man challenge" tab, and click "personal Mid-Year Bonus page" you should get directed to a page with your progress.

I recently moved to Denmark, and I know FTP is not opening here in Denmark for now at least. My FTP account is still signed with the country I moved from...

But, I have managed to download the FTP client and open it to observe games.
Is there any way that I can connect to FTP and log in from Denmark ? maybe even pretend that I am in my previous country (VPN or anything like that). Or is that maybe even illegal (breaking FTP's "laws")

Looks like the link doesn't work for some people - it doesn't think you're logged in to FTP. If it doesn't have your username in the top right then it thinks you're not logged in. To see it, go to My Promotions -> Iron Man Challenge -> check my Mid Year bonus (text link)
