I bought a good amount of FTP before the announcement. I did my homework 100% with the people and still am not worried about getting scammed. Since I bought a lot of it and was very public about the fact that I did, I got probably 20 pm's from people trying to sell me FTP money. Now it's very possible some of them are legit, but I'd be super careful. There were a ton of reasons to legitimately sell over the course of the last year+. As a RoW player almost all of them have now vanished. Anyone who is reputable enough for you to buy at what they'd want to sell at should be able to get a loan for a much smaller vig from someone who knows them well and knows they're legit. If I had a friend I trusted a lot then I'd consider buying RoW accounts but I turned down every offer. US players have a bit more reason to want to sell, but I'm a bit paranoid that they may have issues with other outstanding debts to backers, the irs, other people, whatever. If they are broke enough they need to sell their FTP at 80-90c (not even sure what fair value is for US anymore) how were they going to survive a month ago when they only had an extra month's expenses but their FTP was worth 30-50c? How would they have survived if the deal was announced dead last month and the value of their FTP went to 0? Again it's perfectly possible for people to have legit reasons for selling their FTP, but I personally have stayed away from buying both US and RoW accounts since the news and generally think it's hard for such a deal to be +ev for the buyer unless you know the seller very well.

- I don't have an answer for this one just yet. Sending out physical cards will be pretty low down on the priority list, but I definitely understand the appeal and credit card roulette implications. I don't expect to have an answer until after relaunch.
hahahaha awesome
