Since Tilt went down I have tried every other network with the exception of Ipoker (bots don't entice me much).

They are all ****. Like really ****ing bad. They are soft but they are soft for a reason and it's because regs just can't stand playing there.

I'm on 888 and it tilts me every day having to play there.

Always hated stars.

Always loved full tilt.

Now I don't love anything after todays announcement. Such a fail ftp.

Yea I know what you mean. Its just with the volume on line, its not going to have any effect on them. I imagine they will lose a number of players that got nice rakeback but in the same sense, they will gain alot of players that couldn t get rakeback in the past.

It certainly isn't healthy when there is no competition, Stars won't be bothered if few people are unhappy. Most people just play poker for fun and/or they think they're the greatest poker players in the world. Most of the casual players have no clue what rakeback/points are. Minorities always get treated poorly in life or online. What makes me really angry are the awful treatment of micro tournament players, I mentioned about this issue before but that really makes me angry. Anyway, lets wait and see. There really is no point getting freaked out without knowing the entire facts about full tilts roll out plan.

- The exact process hasn't been announced yet, but it will be as quick and painless as possible. It will involve logging into both sites and using a "pairing code" to link the accounts.
Will relocated USA players who pair their FTP account with their already reopened Pokerstars account be able to play on their FTP account with no further inquiry?

So 17.5% RB for the top tier based on the old system of how you earn points? (i.e. 7 points/$1 raked for tournaments, etc.)

Be interesting to see what else they offer with that, or if their intent is to keep RB%s low, dissuade the grinders from putting in heavy volume-based play, etc.

Does "qualified" include the people that moved from US to ROW (a couple months after BF) and were promised the Mid-Year Bonus in an email from ftp support?

"Hello xxx,

In regards of your Mid-Year Bonus, as you will not reach any status in June, your bonus will be not activated manually.

Please email us back after July 1st and we will activate the bonus manually on your account."

To be honest, I respect big time the professionalism and competence of Pokerstars without any doubt

and I was pretty happy and looking forward to play again on FTP

I had one obsessive thought that I was manifest even with several email to the support of PS and FTP regard the rake-back that was my big concern and worry to be honest as I had a feel that Pokerstars will make something similar to their VIP system that price the rich and fxxxed the poor, and here we are with the only news I wish to never hear

The great and good news is that at least I can take all my money out as there isn't any chances Im going to play on FTP with the same Pokerstars VIP system that doesnt much with me (Im the poor )

The only shame in a great story of an amazing rescue ... anyway, yo-o

...at least they offer something for old members who didn't have rakeback. Those members were completely forgotten by the old FTP management and they were forced to play elsewhere...

I totally agree that we should wait until the full RB deal is very clear and I give PS alot of credit as a compeny as they deserve . However if their current domination in onlinepoker leads to buiseness habbits like this ...

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...count-1253630/

...they are setting standards wich every other upcoming onlinepokergiant might be more then happy to follow .

Im not sure if there is more to that story , but this example might show how onlinepoker looks in the future . Pre BF, Ive never heared about buisenesshabits like this with a strong competitor

A big positive is that now all the players who never had RB on FT will have it. The positive in this is that you'd have to assume most of these players are losing/breakeven players who just weren't aware of what RB was when they were casually signing up for the site.

These types of players getting a regular flow of money in RB that they were never receiving before can only be a good thing.

(i've always had RB there btw, just trying to find the positives in this)

Jesus christ, reading the posts since the last update from Shyam would make everyone believe that rakeback is the be all and end all.

It's a fxxxing poker site!!!!!! You play poker, rakeback is a bonus yes. When rakeback makes up a v.small % of my winnings/losses, then I'm concerned about the ****ing software and player pool. You guys can all go off to those ****ty Euro sites where you get 40% rb or whatever along with the crap software + player pools + bots that they have.

Ive been a pro small/midstake grinder at tilt without any RB for about 4 years . That pretty much kept me away from taking a step into serious cashpoker .
I did some calcs and Ive past up on around 18k $ ;so not bad news for me !

lol , you realy think that RB is a gift ?
For every grinder up to the midstake range , RB has a significant impact on their income . I dont care about PR/-RB stuff . Just give me a netto price of their service and I might considre !

They changed it to 10 points per $ ages before shutdown there's no suggestion they are going to change that?

So instead of 27% flat rakeback+5-10% from Ironman we are getting "up to 25%" tier system - what a nice way to apologize to players for keeping their money for over 16 months... CU at PartyPoker.com

I could understand reasons for such change if it would affect only new players, but it shouldn't impact the old customers who got hurt by all this case.

how?

Can someone spell out for me how this is better, it sounds like: new system that is about the same as rakeback (that is good for ppl without rakeback, but lets please assume for the sake of this argument that the player in question HAD rakeback), then there is FTP, those seem to stay the same if they add 4-5%...so we loose iron man and get nothing back but a system that is probably similar we have to go through to get the old rakeback equivalent?

Shyam can you please preempt the lengthy discussions and just confirm that the effective rakeback numbers for ppl that previously had rakeback+iron man+blackcard will go down significantly?

Argh can't find it anywhere.

There was a thread where somebody had compared Stars and Tilts vip programmes over 4 years.

Because he had done it over 4 years he obviously included the highest Iron Man level and the highest Blackcard level.

IIRC you could get up to just under 50%rb at Tilt so just lol @ saying that 25% weekly means we are better off.
