It's a poker program that will teach everyone very fast how to play a GTO (approximation) strategy, which will basically make everyone solid. Winrates will become so small that everyone will get eaten by the rake.

I used to really like the articles on PokerFuse and read them. But since they have PokerFuse Pro it kinda sucks. You get lured in with a nice headline, then you read a few lines and then you get a message like:

There are 4 more paragraphs in this story to read, available exclusively to pokerfuse PRO subscribers.

So what other (good) news sites are out there that focus mainly on online poker?

Thanks for an alternative. I also don't like that this topic is being dumped in "low content" nobody reads this stuff.... Thanks mods

Edit: Which mod can I contact for this?

fwiw, 95%+ articles on pokerfuse.com now don't have the semi-paywall and the full articles are free. We've been experimenting a bit but we're using it less and less because basically, yeah, it pisses everyone off and that's the last thing we want to do. We're publishing more free now than we ever have, and PRO articles are separate on the site and are always indicated as such in headlines/tweets etc.

Bit i fully understand the sentiment. i would recommend reading onlinepokerreport.com and flushdraw.com.

Fuse is one of the best site, if not the best site, imo ... most of the pro articles are for ppl 'in the industry' anyway, so i think complaints are out of place

Me.

And it's because you're asking a basic question, for which you need basic answers. This thread was started to try to contain stuff where poster X has a question that is going to generate a few responses/answers, which is exactly what your thread was. Ergo I moved it here.

Thanks for all your answers and explanations.

Glad to hear PokerFuse is doing less paywall articles, and I will probably stay at PokerFuse because of that. PokerFuse was always my favourite pokernews site and I sticked with it for years.

I also really liked the articles for people in "the industry" only, gave me some kind of insight in the industry.

I thought nobody would see it here, but I was proven wrong. This is probably the better place for this question as you explained, but thats why you are a mod

this links to an interview who i will not say his name, because i don't wan't to detract anybody, plus of how trite he's become, but i was seriously surprised to hear how much this guy's sport is like poker, and just how professional this guy is. It starts off slow, but its only 5 minutes, and it gets real interesting.

Here's a guy who when i hear him say "there's nothing special about what i do" i'm thinking ok, how cute, now he's just trying to be humble, giving the interview the runaround.

But after a few minutes, after the word "grind" had been used, and after he said, "we're all gonna get to the green in 5, we're all gonna make the fairway," I SOOOO wanted him to use the all famous poker phrase, "small edges"....while he never did mention it specifically, i knew that was what he was alluding to...

Renewed respect to the guy in this interview-he's a grinder baby

http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/02/justic...jewelry-heist/

New York (CNN) -- Three men stole half a million dollars' worth of jewelry from a store at an Atlantic City casino in what New Jersey police are calling a brazen smash-and-grab robbery.

Atlantic City Police are looking for the men in connection to the Monday night heist at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa.

The men brazenly broke into the store, stole the goods and fled in a waiting getaway car, police said.

The robbers were not carrying any weapons during the heist, said Sgt. Monica McMenamin.

The Borgata, which opened in 2003, is a 2,000-room casino-hotel, with four nightclubs, a concert venue, a theater, restaurants and 11 retail stores.

So far I can't find a bike helmet... just sayin.

I don't think this is such a big deal. Insurance will cover it and bothers me things like this get more attention and heavier fines than crooks on wall street that steal this amount of money all rhe time if not more.
Or lets concentrate on real criminals like Snowden.

Media sucks anymore. And I just woke up in crappy mood

Why do countries that don't allow players to play online outside their countries not allow other countries to play in theirs?

Vegas opened their online site but you need to be Vegan to play, same goes for all other sites, don't they minimize their traffic and profit???

If I were to open a site, I'd want to compete for maximum traffic and compete vs Pokerstars. I'm sure the USA wouldn't have trouble doing that.

Unfortunately, it's separated state vs federal. The state of Nevada has allows for it, so only within the state boundaries can you play on sites authorized by the Nevada Gaming Commission.

I know because every time I search for him on the site, he's not there. He never plays.
