As I was watching some of the highlights of the Armstrong interview, I couldn't help but notice a lot of gestures which could easily be interpreted as live tells, like scratching his ear, covering his mouth with his hand, moving his leg in a certain manner, etc.

I'm not a "tell expert" by any means so I was wondering what some of you could pick up from the interview. Him being in an intensely high pressure spot, completely in the open in this one-on-one format, I thought the analogy with poker was pretty obvious. I'd be interested to know what some of you have to say.

As long as they entertain me by hitting lots of home runs, making fantastic plays, jumping higher, running faster and breaking records in general, I don't care if they use performance enhancing drugs.

as for the "tells" thing, i'll mention it here to keep this non-poker topic on topic.

We are quick to use drugs for whatever ails us, mental or physical, in order that we can compete effectively in our world.

I'd feel a bit hypocritical to deny the same to athletes.

this seems like as good a place as any..

Threads come and go, but apparently there is no 2+2 graphics oriented forum.

Setting one up might pose problems of some sort.. but I dunno. If people abide by a few posting rules, it might be an amusing playground... for testing things.. sharing tips.. etc
